Test-Optional Admission

The University of Cincinnati is proud to offer test-optional admission to students applying for the fall 2023 term and will continue for applicants for fall 2024. To ensure equitable opportunity for admission, ACT or SAT scores are optional for applicants to most programs for these upcoming semesters.

What Test-Optional Means for Applicants

Most programs at University of Cincinnati will consider students for admission with or without a standardized test score as part of their application. Choosing not to send a test score will not disadvantage any student. Students who elect not to send a test score will still receive full consideration for scholarships as long as they meet the Early Action Admission Deadline of December 1. View our Test-Optional FAQ to learn more about test-optional admission and what programs require test scores.
